Installation
Onleenotification is a Google Workspace add-on, you can install it from the Google Workspace martketplace.
As it is a Google Workspace add-on it will not be available in the menu "Add-ons" of the Google Editors, onleenotification is avaiblable in the right sidebar.
Onleenotification is available in : Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides.
Once installed, open onleenotification in any of compatible application and follow instruction.
Create notification for your files in Drive
In Google Drive you can setup notification for any files, even for Google Docs or Google Slides for example, you can create a notification directly from Google Drive no need to open the file.
onleenotification is compatible with any files : Google Sites, Google Docs, Google Slides, Google Sheets, Stored files like pdf or Office files, Apps Script files, etc....
🟠 How to setup notification in Google Drive :
Open the add-on from the right sidebar
Select "Frequency" : hourly or daily
If you select "daily" you can select the time you want notification arrived.
For paid users :
You can select to notifiy also "Editors" and/or "readers"
Activate rename alert to get notified if title of file change
Once all done click "Create" to activate notifiation for the file selected.
🟠 How to setup notification in Google Docs, Sheets and Slides :
Open the file
Open the add-on from the right sidebar
Select "Frequency" : hourly or daily
If you select "daily" you can select the time you want notification arrived.
For paid users :
You can select to notifiy also "Editors" and/or "readers"
Activate rename alert to get notified if title of file change
Once all done click "Create" to activate notifiation for the file selected.
Change notification settings
To change notification settings, go in Google Drive or in the Google Editor and open the onleenotification add-on from the right sidebar. Modifiy settings and click "Save".
Stop notification
If you no longer want to receive notification of changes for your files go in Google Drive or in the Editors, open the add-on from the right sidebar and click "Stop".
Create Google Drive folder notification
To create Google Drive folder notification you have to go in Google Drive and select folder to monitor.
Open onleenotification from the right sidebar and you setup notification like for a file. Don't forget to click on "Create".
Once notification started onleenotification will monitor yur folder and send you an email when a file is added or modified in the folder.
⚠️ Only direct file will be monitored not sub folders.
Integration with Slack (paid plan)
Get notified of changes in Slack. Monitor files or folders and share updates in your Slack Channel or private group.

Integration with Google Chat (paid plan)
You can send notification to a Google Chat Space. If you want to share update with some colleagues, your team, etc... you can send notification directly to Google Chat Space.
